Self-advocacy for community living.
The IMHT team decided that there were many mavericks who had made a difference in "community living".
They felt that the biggest difference was made by self-advocacy.
Self-advocacy is about people feeling proud of their disabilities and their history.

 

People with developmental disabilities are mavericks.
This is what It's My History, Too! is all about.
It is about sharing your ideas, stories, arts and talents.
It is about being proud of your history.
It is about making the world a better place for people with developmental disabilities.
